Sebastian Gomez La Divisa Natural Gesha
If you know Gesha, you know this is a coffee worth paying attention to.
Produced by Sebastián Gómez at his family farm, Finca La Divisa, in the highlands of Circasia, Quindío, Colombia, this 100% Gesha microlot represents the combination of exceptional genetics, high elevation, careful harvesting, and meticulous processing.
The cherries are selectively hand-picked at peak ripeness and carefully sorted before being naturally processed and slowly dried. The result is an expressive and complex cup with beautiful floral aromatics and vibrant fruit character.

Recommended Roast Range: (Light, light -medium)
We like this coffee best at City + (Light-medium) or as first crack has begun to trail off. We find this “lighter side of medium” roast level really showcases the florals and citrus in the cup. If you prefer a more balanced cup, feel free to take this coffee to a full medium, or just after first crack has trailed off. Pushing the roast into the first few snaps of second crack will yield a more chocolate focused cup at the expense of the more subtle floral notes, but the cup will pick up a bit more body and creamy texture.
Sebastián Gómez comes from a traditional coffee-growing family and farms La Divisa together with his father, John. After returning to Colombia in 2014, Sebastián shifted the family's focus toward specialty coffee and began introducing varieties such as Geisha and Pink Bourbon. The farm is about 13 hectares and uses shade trees including guamo, guayacán and nogal
